Spiral Diner & Bakery

Spiral Diner & Bakery is an innovative spot that offers a mouthwatering menu of vegan fare. Thanks to its tasty and creative menu, Spiral quickly outgrew its original lunch counter spot and now operates out of both a Denton diner and a Fort Worth location. The menu easily demonstrates that vegan food doesn’t have to be boring, flavorless, or confined to salads. You’ll find a diverse menu of nachos smothered in cashew-based nacho cheese, piled-high burgers with veggie or cashew-quinoa patties, and flavorful Chik’n smothered in sauces, such as Jamaican jerk and buffalo.

Spiral diner also serves breakfast all day with options such as biscuits and country gravy, gluten-free pancakes, and potato breakfast tacos. You can round out any meal with coffee drinks, shakes, and smoothies or even beer, wine, and cocktails if you’d prefer something stronger. If you can save room for dessert, the diner serves homemade vegan I-Scream treats and an abundance of baked goods, such as cookies, brownies, and peanut butter cups. Clara’s Kitchen specializes in offering “food for the soul.” Here, you’ll find a hearty menu of comfort food favorites that are sure to help you turn any day around. If you want to keep things simple for lunch on the run, order one of the sandwiches loaded with mouthwatering fillings. Sidewalk Cafe bills itself as the premier homestyle restaurant for the Denton/Corinth area. The warm, homey atmosphere makes this a great pick for casual dining. Start the day right with the massive breakfast menu that includes omelets, skillets, pancakes, waffles, French toast, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast tacos. Breakfast sides include options such as country-fried potatoes, hash browns, southern-style grits, refried beans, and tomato slices.

For lunch, you can build a classic combo with any two selections from the menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches. You’ll find nearly anything you could want, including tuna salad, patty melts, smoked turkey, and Reubens. You’ll find classic options as well as innovative picks, such as the Mama Mia Burger with grilled portabella mushrooms, fried onions, and fire-roasted red peppers. You’ll also find hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and fish and chips. This diner is a great pick when you want quick, filling fare that’s packed with flavor.
