If you want a unique way to celebrate Mother’s Day, Texas Gun Experience is hosting a Mother’s Day Shoot and Brunch. It occurs on Sunday, May 7, the weekend before Mother’s Day, at the Texas Gun Experience in Grapevine. It runs from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and is open to everyone ages ten and up. The cost is $85 per shooter, and for this price, the whole family can enjoy some time on the range and then sit down for brunch together on the outdoor patio.

The day will begin with a safety brief and instructions from the trainers before you head out to the range. This is open to people who have shot before and those who have never handled a gun.

Always Mothers Luncheon

The Always Mothers Luncheon is a Mother’s Day Event hosted by A Motivating Love. It’s held the Saturday before Mother’s Day weekend at the Plano Event Center. This year, it will take place on Saturday, May 6, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mothers from all walks of life can head to the event to enjoy shopping at the many vendors and sit down for a plated lunch. The Always Mothers Luncheon features motivational speakers and is an excellent place for networking. The 2023 keynote speaker is Lavinia Masters, and the entertainment is comedian ShantaQuilette Develle.

Brunch at Queenie’s Steakhouse

Queenie’s Steakhouse serves a special Sunday brunch every Mother’s Day. They haven’t announced the 2023 time or menu yet, but you can count on delicious food for the entire family. Last year, they were open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and served such menu items as Bruschetta Benedict with Roma tomato and quail eggs. Last year’s menu also featured Parmesan-breaded snapper with broccolini, bell pepper avocado sauce, and Grana Padano cheese.

The Love Within Fashion Show

Head to Dallas on Saturday, May 13, for The Love Within Fashion show and brunch. Moms and their little ones will hit the runway at Venture x Dallas Braniff Centre. This event will feature fun and beautiful fashion, empowering music, and delicious food and drinks. The pop-up shop will give eventgoers a place to shop for the items they see, and there will even be goodie bags to take home. It costs $50 to get in, and the event is open to all ages.

Mother’s Day Evening with the Tenors
